ODBC connection for sqlserver goldengate ~ Blog for oracle RAC Goldengate Dataguard ASM database

Hello Friend's

In This Post We will discuss about ODBC connection creation for Goldengate from sqlserver to oracle

Step : 1 Click on Add to create a new data source

Step 2 : Select sql server Native client 11.0 as a datasource

Step 3 : Provide the source name and hostname of server

Step 4 : Provide the windows user account by which sql is running

Step 5 : Select new created database name from drop down and click next

Step 6 : No action needed , click next

Step 7 : Click on test data source

Step 8 : Connection is successful but we need a sql server authentication user for datasource

Step 9 : Now click configure to add user with sql server authentication for datasource

Step 10 : No changes required click next

Step 11 : Now provide the username and password created as WL schema owner and click next until you get the screen on step 12 .

Step 12 : ODBC connection completed
